Part 4: Mission 03: Rooftops | Escape
Mission 03 - Rooftops: Escape [ blip | youtube ]Primary: Assist Jack
- Jack needs your protection. There's a skywalk that leads over the parking lot. He's going to trigger the fire alarm to open the doors so you can get across. Take up position on the building opposite and cover Jack as he works his way up the building.
- Jack's heading for a cleaning rig on the side of the building. When he's safe I need you to zipline across. You can kickstart the rig's motor from there so Jack can get down to the storm drain.
Support: Jam Enemy Comms
- Hey guys, comm net's buzzing! Looks like the suits and Killian's gang are co-ordinating their movements across the radio network. If you wanna stop them planning their attacks you need to jam their communications.
- The tops of these buildings are stacked with coolant fans. Shoot off their shielding to kick up a static storm. Plans are also showing two radio transmitters - boosting their power output will block out enemy radio signals. Oh and don't worry, I'm ready to power up our signal so we can stay in touch.
Primary: Open Flood Gates
- I knew our exit was too good to be true - the storm drain's blocked by two flood gates. The schematics show manual controls on the ground and a rain sensor on top of one of the rooftops that controls them. See if you can fool it into opening the gates.
Support: Nullify Killian
- Doesn't that Killian creep know when to give up? Persuade him to fly someplace else. My scan shows he's smart enough to get a bulletproof cockpit but stupid enough to upgrade his engines - shielding's weak and that makes them an ideal target. Deal him some damage, hopefully you'll hit something vital.
Primary: Escape to Evac Point
- I ran a scan on Jack's nul suit. Zeigler's Neurodrive has sure messed with his mind. Jack's going to need your help if he's to get to the evac point alive. The powerboat's at moorings half a klick south of your insertion point. Area looks secure but odds on it won't stay that way.
- Protect Jack and get across the rooftops, down the high-rise and through the storm drain that leads to the moorings. Make sure you're not followed. Engine's running and I'm ready to run.
